3D Beaded Ruffle Cuff

Date:
Sat, 04/14/2012 - 10:30am - 2:30pm

“Options! We like options. This sweet little ruffle cuff can be made using soft colors in meandering diagonal rows and a soft-edged, rolling ruffle; or vibrant colors, stitched in a diamond pattern, with pointed edges highlighting the 3-demensional shape. We’ll discuss the many options and do a little experimenting. This class uses Peyote & Ndebele stitches. Some beading experience is helpful, but this class is OK for beginners.”

Pillow Beaded Beads Tutorial

Date:
Sun, 03/18/2012 - 12:00am - 3:30pm

“These lovely beaded pillow beads were designed by Carol Huber Cypher for Interweave Press. I had so much fun making the beads that I decided to jazz them up with embellishment. We’ll use Peyote & Ndebele stitches to create the pillows, and then discuss options: They can be stuffed or left hollow, hung sideways on a necklace or made as smaller pillows to use as earrings. This class in ok for beginners, but some knowledge of beading stitches is helpful.” -Bonnie Mountain
