“Makin’ It with Destination DIY” is a project night and listening party. Treat your ears to unreleased snippets of Destination DIY — some stuff that’s not even on the podcast yet! Please bring your knitting, sketch book, arduino circuit board, zine stapler, Bedazzler, collage materials or whatever else you’re working on.

There will be FREE beer and food

And if you don’t have a portable project handy — never fear! — SCRAP will have materials and inspiration on hand.

This Swap is like Naked Lady Party but with a sewing twist. Bring a bag of old clothes, swap and trade with the other participants… if something doesn’t fit right… we’ll teach you how to alter it! If you find an awesome top and a killer skirt, learn how to attach them to make your new favorite dress! Embellish, deconstruct, and alter! We’ll teach you how in this brand new class. Swapping is more fun with friends so be sure to bring the ladies with you!

The Passport to creativity group (The Accidental BookMaker, ART on a Lark Studio, Paper Parachute, and Main Street Stamp & Stationery) is hosting a play Day Retreat on May 21! Gather your friends for this exciting opportunity to craft together.

Our idea for this retreat stemmed from our Fall Store Tour, where we saw many familiar faces and tons of new ones too. We noticed that people on the same route would bump into each other at each store. Why not have ATCs to trade while you're on the tour?!

HUGE Clothes Swap: Sunday, May 15th noon-5pm at The Secret Society (116 NE Russell,)

This is a SECOND clothes swap for the NE contingent of fashion lovers!

In addition to the clothes swap at The Woods, we present to you another HUGE fashion event!

$5 and a small bag of clothes gets you a WHOLE NEW WARDROBE!

Plus, grab a glass of wine while you're grabbing up your new duds!
