Mastering the buttonhole can be daunting, but in this class we’ll break down the process of sewing on a button (the right way) and sewing a buttonhole. What’s a shank and why is it necessary? How big should my button hole be? What is interfacing and why do I need it? All these questions and more will be answered!

if you are using your own machine be sure to bring the Buttonhole Foot however you’re more than welcome to use one of our machines!

This is a great beginner class for kids. The class is designed for 7 years old +. All supplies included in cost of class. You can either drop of your child or stay for the class and help them along the way!

We’ll learn how to thread a needle, make a quilters knot, execute a running stitch, blanket stitch and finish off with how to sew on a button.

This project is a great way to boost creative confidence in young stitchers and gives them a super cute project to show off to their friends or to give as a Christmas Gift.

The only thing better than sewing is cooking… and cooking is so much better when you’re doing it in style. Skye Blue of Skye Blue Can Sew will teach you how to make a sweet reversible apron.

Felting is an age-old natural process of agitating wool by hand with hot water and soap. Learn how to felt a beautiful and unique handmade bar of soap in this 2 hour long class, and leave with your own finished one-of-a-kind creation. All materials will be provided, including locally hand crafted soaps and hand dyed felting wool of many colors. Just bring your creativity!

Circle Skirts are both simple to make and flattering for all body types. We’ll be making a skirt with very few stitch lines and an elastic waist band for super simple construction and fit! No Pattern Needed. Must be fluent in Machine Basics!
