Sculpting the Human
Figure in Clay Intensive
Ages 18 & Up
A 4-day intensive study of modeling
the human figure in clay. Quick studies,
half-scale figures using armatures,
& portraits. Some pieces created as
exercises & some taken to completion.
The approach separates the
process into steps. Emphasis on both
the training of the eye in analyzing
the form & features of the model &
the artistic & technical abilities of
each student in constructing expressive
works. Open studio not included
in this workshop. Bring your own
tools. Other materials are included.
All experience levels welcome.
